{"id":363,"date":"2012-09-20T08:46:47","date_gmt":"2012-09-20T08:46:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bitmap2lcd.com\/blog\/?p=363"},"modified":"2016-11-08T11:14:59","modified_gmt":"2016-11-08T11:14:59","slug":"convert-a-range-of-unicode-chars-for-glcd-font","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bitmap2lcd.com\/blog\/convert-a-range-of-unicode-chars-for-glcd-font\/","title":{"rendered":"Convert a range of unicode chars for GLCD Font"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>Bitmap2LCD is a tool for programming small Graphic LCDs in embedded systems.<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Convert a range of unicode chars for GLCD Font<\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Obsolete article, only for previous versions &lt; V3.7 <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another way to convert <strong>unicode<\/strong> chars\u00a0by defining a range of them:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter\u00a0font script mode<\/li>\n<li>Enter Range Mode (<strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">yellow arrow<\/span><\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li>If necessary, erase\u00a0the from Hex and to Hex addresses with the <strong>clr<\/strong> button<\/li>\n<li>Select Range Start in the char grid (red arrow), address appears in From Hex (<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>blue Arrow<\/em><\/span>)<\/li>\n<li>Select Range End the same way in the char grid -&gt; To Hex<\/li>\n<li>Then Validate Address (<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">blue arrow<\/span><\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li>Encode the Font Range (<strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">orange Arrow<\/span><\/strong>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note : You can define Start and End of range addresses in different Fonts blocks.
