{"id":1783,"date":"2016-03-24T11:14:00","date_gmt":"2016-03-24T11:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bitmap2lcd.com\/blog\/?p=1783"},"modified":"2016-11-09T08:48:08","modified_gmt":"2016-11-09T08:48:08","slug":"full-size-or-partial-conversion-of-the-graphic-in-work-canvas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bitmap2lcd.com\/blog\/full-size-or-partial-conversion-of-the-graphic-in-work-canvas\/","title":{"rendered":"Full Size or Partial Conversion of the Graphic in Work Canvas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><strong><em>Bitmap2LCD is a tool for programming small Graphic LCDs in embedded systems and a programmable graphic and text processing tool.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Full Size or Partial Conversion of the Graphic in Work Canvas<\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Update V3.7c<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Auto-framing<\/strong> (effective bitmap size) : The tool automatically builds a frame around the bitmap located inside the work canvas and converts only the pixels inside it to data.<\/p>\n<p>This frame is built around the effective bitmap by ignoring all the pixels around that are\u00a0 considered as being in &#8220;background&#8221; color pixel. The background color is defined by the pixel color at X0 and Y 0 , at the top left corner.<\/p>\n<p>The frame takes into account the number of pixels per byte ( In monochrome mode for example a multiple of 8 in height or in Width, this depends of the data direction )<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bitmap Size Descriptors<\/strong> : If checked, at the end of the data array in the Text Editor , you will find <strong>descriptors<\/strong> with <strong>height<\/strong> and <strong>Width <\/strong>of the converted bitmap.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bitmap Coordinates Descriptors : <\/strong>If checked, at the end of the data array in the Text Editor , you will find <strong>descriptors <\/strong>with <strong>X coordinate<\/strong> and <strong>Y coordinate<\/strong> of the converted bitmap, the coordinates of the top left corner. If checked, the<strong> Auto Framing processing is bidirectional. <\/strong>If unchecked,<strong> the<strong> Auto Framing processing will only be made in one direction.<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Find these options in the configuration panel (<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>blue arrow<\/strong><\/span>) Data syntax Tab (<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>green arrow<\/strong><\/span>) in the Bitmap Conversion Options Group (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>red arrow<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n<p><a conversion of the graphic in the Work Canvas :<\/p>\n<p>You can opt for an effective Bitmap Size (auto-framing) ( <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">green arrow<\/span><\/strong> ) or for a conversion of the full size canvas or of a manually selected area of the Work Canvas (<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> red arrow<\/span><\/strong> )<\/p>\n<p>In the case of a manually selected area, you have then to select the area with the mouse along the paging scheme guide lines.<\/p>\n<p><a
