It&#8217;s the easiest and fastest\u00a0way to switch from one to another.<\/p>\n<p>A so called &#8220;<strong>artwork&#8221; <\/strong>is a set of files related to the graphic filename : In the below\u00a0example a <strong>graphic<\/strong> saved for example as <strong>NewBitmap.BMP<\/strong> ,\u00a0will be\u00a0converted to an <strong>output<\/strong>\u00a0file called <strong>NewBitmap.h <\/strong>, and\u00a0the associated\u00a0<strong>touch panel<\/strong> file will then be named <strong>NewBitmap.TSC <\/strong><strong>(<em>Red Arrow<\/em>)<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you save your &#8220;<strong>artwork<\/strong>&#8221; <strong>AS (<em><span style=\"color: #ffff00;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #ffff00;\"><span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\">yellow arrow<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>)<\/em>, <\/strong>as a bitmap, \u00a0you will change the basic filenames<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bitmap2lcd.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/bitmap2lcd_tuto_1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1087\" src=\"https:\/\/bitmap2lcd.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/bitmap2lcd_tuto_1.png\" alt=\"bitmap2lcd_tuto_1\" width=\"729\" height=\"507\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bitmap2lcd.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/bitmap2lcd_tuto_1.png 729w, https:\/\/bitmap2lcd.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/bitmap2lcd_tuto_1-300x208.png 300w, https:\/\/bitmap2lcd.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/bitmap2lcd_tuto_1-624x433.png 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 729px) 100vw, 729px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Load a graphic<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can either use the\u00a0<strong>direct graphic load<\/strong> by dialog\u00a0located at the top of\u00a0main menu <em><strong>File <\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>or<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>switch to\u00a0the file explorer \/ or click <strong>Load graphic File<\/strong> in main menu <strong>File <\/strong><em>(fig1.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">red arrow<\/span>)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>In the list of files, click to\u00a0select your particular graphic file<strong>\u00a0you want to load <\/strong><em>(<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">fig1\u00a0blue arrow<\/span>) , <\/em>it appears in the graphics viewer window at the right side.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Resize or turn<\/strong>\/tilt the preview image using the buttons located at the top of the graphic preview.<\/li>\n<li>Double click in the graphics viewer (yellow arrow) or the click the <strong>import button located <\/strong>at the top or bottom of the preview <em>(<span style=\"color: #008000;\">fig1. File explorer view<\/p>\n<p>If the graphic is larger than the Work Canvas a message box\u00a0will ask you if you want\u00a0resize the image to fit the canvas or not.<\/p>\n<p>The graphic\u00a0will be imported\u00a0<strong>in the selection layer\u00a0<\/strong>,\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not<\/span> directly into the Work Canvas\u00a0(fig2. imagine your own graphic inside the canvas)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The\u00a0red frame<\/strong><em> (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">fig2. red arrow<\/span>) <\/em><strong>around the canvas<\/strong> means that you will have to <strong>paste<\/strong> the graphic into the canvas after moving\u00a0it, convert it. When outline frame is red, it means that a <strong>&#8220;floating &#8221; selection layer<\/strong> above the canvas is displayed&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The imported graphic can be moved around\u00a0above the Work canvas : Move\/drag the red frame to the desired canvas location with the left mouse button pressed. \u00a0file in the text editor.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Color picker<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Bitmap2LCD\u00a0has built in functions wich are very similar\u00a0to the popular MS Paint program<\/p>\n<p>You can\u00a0select the foreground (pen color) and background colors (brush color) for painting and writing text by clicking in the color boxes of the menu window.<\/p>\n<p>You can copy foreground color to background colors\u00a0or swap them\u00a0when clicking\u00a0in the small boxes around the colors boxes.<\/p>\n<p><a
