For First steps for new users, please follow this short tutorial :

1. In the FILE menu, select item {view/create/select project folders} or (CTRL-F) and select/ build your project folders structure.

-> Three different folders can be defined : One for bitmap files and graphic library (blue), one for saving the tables of constants (red) and another for documentation files (yellow).

2. In The FILE menu select {Open new artwork and table of constants} (CTRL- N) even if the work canvas grid window is permanently visible.

Note  { view/create/select project folders } can be replaced with an image import { Load a bitmap or JPG file }. If it is a color picture, convert it to black and white using the trackbar and then paste the import to the canvas with the paste function of the CUT/COPY menu.

-> the file and translator manager window appears at the right side of the screen.

3. For example, select the square or rectangle drawing tool button and draw with the mouse a rectangle inside the work canvas.

4. The filename and table of constants name can be defined with the FILE menu item {define the table and file name}

5. In the FILE menu select the item {Generate table of constants} -> The canvas pixels are translated to a table of constants according to the table configuration options ( orientation, hexadecimal, binary, or decimal format etc..)

( For a change of the output configuration select the items of the OUTPUT menu and then change the array and bit orientations with the buttons at the top of the file manager window.)

-> You can check the table array output in the right side window.

6. In the FILE menu, select the item {save table of constant} (CTRL-S) . The "header" file is then saved in the red folder you have previously defined (1)

7. If you want to save your new bitmap (the rectangle) in a file, select the FILE menu item {Save artwork as bitmap } (CTRL-B)

-> The new bitmap file is saved into the blue or yellow project folder according to the settings and preference configuration panel.

8. When you want to create another artwork, first close the current one { Close artwork and table of constants} and open a new one (1). The work canvas remains permanently visible, only the file and translator manager will be closed.
